Serendipitously, she encounters Vera, her 1920s counterpart, and the two team up to steal the famous jewels owned by Ziegfield star Maggie McGraw.  Hilarity ensues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI guess the best thing to call\u00a0<em>Caught in the Act<\/em>, for lack of a better phrase, is an old-fashioned, contemporary feminist backstage musical comedy fantasy melodrama.
